Why Can't We Call A Liar: A Big Liar? Poem by Hebert Logerie

Sometimes, we have to put all euphemisms aside.
Sometimes, we have to be straight shooters.
Why can't we expose the lies and call a liar: a big liar?
Say it as we see it. Do not call lions, big cats or tigers.
When somebody do not tell the truth and lied
In such egregious ways; even if we greatly admire
Or dislike the person; we ought to tell it like it is.
We can no longer swallow and digest so many lies.
Politicians shouldn't be hiding behind the piers and the piles
Of papers that are littering their desks. Please, please
People, please people, do not be afraid to expose
The professional liars. Liars are usually corrupt and deceptive.
Do not tolerate them. Folks, do not be nice to those foes,
Otherwise, we will fall in their traps. Do not be so passive.
Liars pose serious threats to our fragile and convoluted society.
Liars are thieves which continue to corrupt our ailing democracy.
