Who Poem by Tiernan Booth

Who

Rating: 3.8

Who am I?
Am I a ship in the sky?
Am I one to leave my heart on the line?
Who will I be?
Will I travel the land and the sea?
Will I be the one to change how you see?
Who was I?
Had I done something dumb?
Better yet is it something I can overcome?

Who are you?
Are you someone to trust?
Tell me is this love or lust?
Who will you be?
Will you forever love me?
Who were you?
When hard times come will you help me through?
If you forgive me, then I'll forgive you!

Who were we?
Were we a mess of communication?
Separate lives filled with discombobulation?
Who will we be?
Is there even a chance for you and me?
Or are we being pulled apart by a force that's unseen?
Who Are We?

The poem seeks to probe the reality of self and truth behind inter-personal relationships. A philosophical presentation. Thanks.
