White Dove Of Flight Poem by Michael Brock

White Dove Of Flight

Rating: 5.0

White is the dove in flight
its wings beating slowly
towards the distance gleam
the light upon the shore

Spring winds blow to its aid
This snowflake in the deep blue
Freedom stretches it wings
towards the distant green

It sails upon the winds
watching the land below
In evergreens and oaks
the dove lands to rest

Very beautiful. I like to think of your dove as a white snowflake in a deep blue sky. Write on, by all means. Warm regards, Sandra

A well written poem! It was the dove which had brought a twig and aligted on Noah's Arc to announce that land was in sight! May your dove be the harbinger of PEACE! -Raj
