Bird's Nest Poem by Michael Brock

Bird's Nest

Blue and green background stand
Red glow in front to expand your wings
My eyes are blurred and watered
A vision now laid, gone in tomorrows light

Let the waters edge stop your run
March into the land's misty waste
Take your picture in focused harmony
And then wash your hands.

Allow the moment to burn you
The fear will keep you sane
Until the dream returns to build it's nest
Brown eggs, warm breast feathers, I confess.

'My eyes are blurred and watered A vision now laid, gone when awaken tomorrow' Transient nature of feelings and bird's nest- relationship with changing time.
