While The Summer Rain Falls Angrily Poem by Gert Strydom

While The Summer Rain Falls Angrily

While the summer rain falls angrily
and lighting bolts hits reaching everywhere,
we are running to the washing line
to remove clothes.

The dogs run along splashing
en everywhere in the house
mud spots are treaded in
and it’s nice to be dry and cosy
in the warmth of the house.
