Where The Flute Lets Out Its Song
a real poet means
even the mistakes
between the verses
will not douse the
eagerness to read you
even when you do not
write out full sentences
and place dashes, moon
and stars between your words
because between the lines
are jewels to dazzle the readers' mind
notches and keyholes the
smart flute lets out its song
Breath taking, I'm saving this John and would like to put a copy up for my flute students to read. Just as the poet sings when he writes, the flutist needs to draw poetry from the flute.
