When You Cry Poem by Aria Quimby

When You Cry

When you cry
I'm there by you side
Catching the tears
Wiping your nose
Holding your hand

When you laugh
I'm there by your side
Giggling with you
Grasping you shoulder for balance
Enjoying the moment

When you're down
I'm there by your side
Cheering you up
Telling you dumb jokes
Making a fool of myself

And when you need me
I'm there by your side
Hugging you tight
Listening close
And letting you know
All is all right.

But when I cry
When I laugh
When I'm down
And when I need you,
You're no where to be found
Disappeared at the moment I call.
