When I Fly Poem by Pearl L Johns

At night when i fall asleep
I let the magic of the night fill me.
As I fall into the arms of slumber
I hop upon the back of my dragonfly
and we fly.
We fly above the earth and leave behind
all fear and anger that await below.
Where we go, as we fly
We are forever young
and filled with hope.
No pain, no sadness, no misunderstanding
only a world filled with love.
Forever friends, me and my dragonfly.
And we fly.
