When I close my eyes
You are all I see
Anytime day or night
It brings you back to me
In the dark or the light
At midday or midnight
You are always there
When I close my eyes

When I close my eyes
My heartbeat returns
Seeing you warms me
The fire still burns
The flames though they burn me
Soon are quenched by tears I cry
Yet I can't help but want them
When I close my eyes

When I close my eyes
What is real fades away
And it feels like you still love me
But it's just a game my mind plays
Though it's a game I never win
How I yearn to play it again and again
When I close my eyes
