What Else Can I Say. Poem by Osagie Francis samuel Omono

What Else Can I Say.

WHAT ELSE CAN I SAY.
What else can I say,
You have again in my life proven to be more than a God.
To me thou o God have proven to be,
More than my Creator,
What else can I really say?
When in the wilderness of life, I lost my way,
From no where, in that great wildernesse,
You showed up a way, thus leading me out.
What else can I say?
When life, narrowed my path,
Leading my way to a dead end,
That on a rope I have to cross the valley,
You were my balance, as on the rope, I staggered, one side to the other.
When to the ground, I was knocked down,
When on a stone I dashed my feet,
That I seven times fell, as my enemies looked on,
To them selves saying, he isn'tcoming up again,
Reaching out down to me from heaven, lifting me up,
To my feet again, was your Mighty hand.
Suddenly the light of my life was extinguished,
The wind of life blew off my candle,
Like a blind man, I groped about,
In darkness.
From heaven where you dwell,
You shown your light on me, illuminating,
My path.
What else can I say?
When through the window, the little hope
Left in my heart flew out,
Hopelessness covered me like a rope,
No friend to rest on,
No brother close by,
No shoulder to lean on,
You restored my lost hope,
Became to me a friend closer than a brother,
You oh God, gave me a shoulder to lean on,
You helped me again find my voice,
Filling my mouth with singing,
Now my heart sings with joy.
What else can I say?
If all the hairs on my body be tongues,
They won't be enough to sing your praise,
If at your Majestic feet, your Glorious presence,
The earth resources I bring,
That will an offering be too small.
If all the waters if the sea could sing,
Yet they will do so in nothingness,
To Glorify your Majesty.
What else can I say to you,
Holy One?
I have just come to you, in appreciation,
To say THANK YOU.
