a wonder so much
loneliness can pack
into that frail little frame
if loneliness has a weight
she would be carrying
a hundred times what
she is doing now
a wonder how much
human warmth and friendship
can lighten everything up
even at the worst crisis
she feels herself light as
the song of a spring bird
whenever he is around
