Weather Exposed

Autumn Crushes, Morning Leaves
The Sun Is Shining, The Warmth Deceives
The Earth Is Shaking, The Tree It Grieves
For This Beauty Hidden Up Your Sleeves
Is Crumbling Like The Dry Brown Leaves
A Slowly Rotting Lung That Breathes
The Air Of A Thousand Thieves...
And Somewhere A Child Believes
In Everything The Mind Achieves
As Birds Are Nesting In The Eves
Ready To Conceive...
That’s When You Chose To Leave

Autumn Crushes, Morning Leaves
Wave Goodbye To Summer Breeze
The Cold Chill Is Back To Haunt Us Again
With It's Old Friend The Winter Rain
The Dark Nights Are Drawing In
The Sun And Moon Had A Fight
Only To Then, Let The Darkness Win
And Lamp Lights Shine Your Way Back Home
To A Meal For One, Alone

Winter Changes Autumns Leaves
The Dull Grey Sky
Hangs Up High
Like An Important Portrait...Of Nothing
Something New Is On The Way
Or So The Stars Tell Me
The Bitter Cold Winds
Shatter My Bones
Which Clatter Like Stones
Teeth Chatter And Groan
And Winter Changes
The Autumn Leaves.

Poem of the Day

poet Wilfred Owen

All sounds have been as music to my listening:
Pacific lamentations of slow bells,
The crunch of boots on blue snow rosy-glistening,
Shuffle of autumn leaves; and all farewells:
