We Miss You Dad Poem by lori stlouis

We Miss You Dad

Your face I will never see,
in your arms I'll never be.
You had to leave before I came,
but I will always carry your name.
I have no memories just stories of you,
hey Papa i even look like you too.
Papa I know you tried to wait,
but heaven called you to their gates.
I wish just once I could see your face,
because no one can take your place.
I know you would be proud of me,
a part of you I'll always be.
