We Made It Poem by Paul Reed

We Made It

Rating: 5.0

There was a choice to make
As there is every morning
To get out of bed, to take
A step toward the dawning;

For, although this world seems cold
The skies above are still blue
We can still choose to be bold,
There is still me and you;

This is why I kept going
When it was easier to stop
Because we stand here, knowing
We made it to the top.

Quite emphatic statement. You can do whatever you like provided you have the courage and right kind of planning. Thanks for sharing.

That's why I kept going When it was easier to stop Because we stand here, knowing We made it to the top. Beautiful words. Stopping is easier but knowing when to stop matters a lot. Good work.
