We Called Her Sandra Poem by Lee Claiborne

We Called Her Sandra

Such a radiant flower,
That bloomed from the red clay of Mississippi,

Adorned with petals of tender love, & roots as strong as whiskey

Your fragrance, a refreshing candor, yet a heart that never hardened.

But now removed from this frozen earth & replanted in GOD'S eternal garden.
