We can be more than we are!
We are not this wavering image,
We are not this fleeting time,
We are not shallow words!
We can muster that strength that stirs deeper!
We can reach further for the truth in ourselves!
We can touch the invigorating impulses of epiphany,
We can be a brilliant vision of beauty!
Open your eyes to new ways of seeing,
And bring forth the light of your being!

We must liberate our fortress hearts,
And pour out the molten gold of divine incarnation!

We are more than we are!
We are stronger, braver, bolder,
Wiser, older!
What capacity for justice, humility, compassion!
What capacity to run free, to love, to live,
To begin again, to forgive,
What capacity to imagine and to create!
We are in control of our own fate!
We are many,
We are one!
