We are flowers of the sky
Of many different colors
Under the Sun we fly high
As gentle loving brothers
xxxx
We love and sing and sing and love
Freedom is our only Song
We all are blessed from above
With true love nothing goes wrong
xxxx
We are the twinkling stars of daylights
We shine with our angelic voices
We sleep peacefully during warm nights
By Him! We are of the best races
xxxx
Greedy are we this is not true
In one place we do not stay
We fly under every sky blue
When stormy we shelter away
xxxx
Strange! Our life is extremely strange
We try to make you humans gay
Our reward is an iron cage
Or sudden shots without delay
xxxx
Small in body, small in brain
Harmless as the gentle rain
Together we form a strong chain
And face our life with out much pain
xxxx
The northern wind is getting cold
The Sun is very pale in face
Good-bye friends in this country old
We must fly to a younger place
