Watching You Poem by Gerald Watts

Watching You

Im a guardian angel, Watching your exiguos soul,
To prevent you from any accident whatsoever is my goal.
My devotion to you could never assert treacherous thoughts,
I'll always endorse myself to your mistakes and to your faults.
I denounce you'r sins but applause your ascertained ways,
Your Insolence is always short termed at the end of the days.
When in need you call my name and i promise to be there quick,
Even though you show chilvalry, and your mood is timidity sick.
I live up to my words and i promise to comfort you through your sobs,
I will fight for your happiness and live to demean what's my job.
As your guardian angel, i will quarrel against yor mishaps,
And devise such a benediction which will coerce the devil to tap.
The Great Father above has decided to accept your joyous dissemination,
So out of all ruined souls, my wing covers your elimination.
Im a stalker for happiness, why is it this, that you don't see?
Angels hold no servitude so my wings will let you free.
But remember one thing, before i emancipate you,
You'll be human, i understand, But i swear to stay watching you!
