Atlantis Poem by Gerald Watts

Atlantis

My supplication for this submerging town
Gives me a non-steadfast attitude, with tantilizing frowns.
How could i have such a drive, for this theatrical excursion,
Its like an underwater laser show, awaiting human conversion.
It is no dream when you are awake; or
You open your eyes to a cylindrical water corridor.
Leading you to the gates of Underwater Atlantis,
With Neptune guiding you, and plenty goddesses enchanted.
It is what we dreamed, just like the saga said,
Atlantis is as alive, as the Titanic is dead.
Buildings are blue, as if it is a law or expedient,
Always follow Atlantis laws by never committing disobedience.
If Neptune discover your forebearance, he'll grant you more infancy,
The goddesses are frail and unstable so constrainig them is'nt easy.
This underwater City is like a gargantuan apertured abyss,
Except with garnish and embellished Buildings, with mermen and fish.
Vehicles could never exist,
Roads Shrouded to mist,
Compulsion never to insist,
Vitality is never missed.
The best food is a fish danish,
Which sends you up and vanish,
Every race including the Spanish,
WILL SINK AND MAKE EARTH, THE NEW ATLANTIS! ! ! !

I like this piece. Simple yet beautiful. It speaks of one who loves nature.
