Walk Me Out Of Winter~ Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

Walk Me Out Of Winter~

Rating: 4.8

Walk me out of this Winter Vortex, beloved
Please erase, all of this January white
Melt the ice that dangles endlessly
Remove it all from my very sight...
Clear the Earth of the crunching and crackling
As i walk this path of my life time...
Arrest the cutting whip of the sharp North wind
Carry me into the first of Spring - most sublime-

Float me in 'cross blue skies - do not tarry, beloved
Where the sun simply shines and shines
Open my window to the vision of Cherry Blossoms
Please make the coming Spring - all mine- -
Allow me to walk this garden daily...
Breathing in the sweet fragrance of the Rose
While i embrace the Tulips sweet arrival
For Spring 'tis the season my heart truly knows- -

Recent cold, snow, and ice have been a burden to all. Poem nicely invites spring. This very thought lets us live through difficulties. Thank you.

Loneliness makes me wish for the moments with friends and family, like winter makes us thinks of summer!
