Waiting For The Fireworks Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Waiting For The Fireworks

Moon looking down upon us sitting here in the field, sun having
gone down, but dusk is giving us enough light.

More people have come, all nationalities together, young, old,
middle aged, everyone excited.

All of us looking forward to the collection of fireworks to be
shot into the sky before too much longer.
