Vultures For The Flesh Poem by Dave Alan Walker

Vultures For The Flesh

Rating: 5.0

Crowded round
like vultures for the flesh
they hear a tale
and spin it into a yarn
they wouldn't know the truth
if it hit them between the eyes

They pull fortunes out of lucky bags
to see who they can destroy
these are the drug fueled few
who will never have a life
all they want to do
is destroy what is good

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is about some people who heard someone I know
tell someone something, then twisted it into a pack of lies.
I can't stand these kind of people. They need to stop taking
their drugs and get a life.

I get your message. Try Gossips when you have a spare couple of minutes. We are in agreement. Cheers.

And if people were more discerning by thinking for themselves and not allow themselves to be manipulated against the truth, then such people would not achieve their aim. Excellent write Dave.

More than anything else it is within the power of man to save another or destroy him! Some are so cynical that they take delight in spreading scandals against others or by destorting truths tarnish the good name! How good it would be if man doesn't misuse his tongue! ! Meaningful write!

They are really ignorant. They do not know what is what. Lack of proper knowledge. Our educational systems failed to provide proper knowledge. I like this poem thanks. Cent percent. I request you to read my poems and comment and vote.
