Virtual Girl Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Virtual Girl

Virtual Girl

I had a virtual girlfriend
From bone and flesh
Not here, far away.

She is gone
Divorced her
But a lot is here
About her to be said…

She, too, was human
Like others made mistake,
But never accepted,
And always had claim:
"Am smart; I, Never! "

The same is our neighbour,
In heart of USA
Where people are angered
And police on fire
And cities are looted!

The golden guy of there
Sticks to same claim:
"My Mistake? No! Never! "

Such people always search
For others to blame.

My girl said:
"My parents, government,
And the hard life here…"

Neighbour says:
"Obama, and Mullahs
And Russia and China! "

Wonder why narcissists
And selfish, egoists, stupid
Come from the same mold
Of thinking they are best
And the best of bests…? ? ?
