Virtual Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Virtual

Virtual

You called me a nomad, barbaric, and backward
That made me take time off, sit alone
And question: “Who am I? ”

And of you
And of you
And of you

I know now
I am true and living
You have head in the jar

Virtual
Virtual
Virtual

Should I care?
You are deaf and are dumb
Yet convinced: “I am the civilized.”

Be
Remain
And stay
Civilized

I have love
And brain
Open eyes
All is mine

And you are:
Virtual
Virtual
Virtual
