We pay respect on Veteran's Day
To those who answered the call
They fought our country's wars
And watched their comrades fall
You see their pressed uniforms
Those old Vets wear with pride
But look at their somber faces,
See the tears they cannot hide
Veterans who gave us so much
And asked for so little back…
Parades & speeches once a year
A few names on a bronze plaque
They are our sons & daughters
Our brothers and fathers too..
And when they were called to fight
They bleed Red, White, and Blue
Our Veterans shaped this world
And they fought for our liberty….
I ask you to honor their memory
And their will to keep us free! !
