Valentine's Day - Tomorrow Poem by Randy McClave

Valentine's Day - Tomorrow

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day
And happily I will save me a lot of pay,
No gifts or flowers for me to buy
And I don't have to wear a clean shirt or a tie.
No romantic movies will I be forced to watch
And I don't need to purchase wine or scotch,
And I don't have to buy a Valentine's Day card
Or place a romantic sign in my yard.
Fast food restaurants won't be crowded
Memories, will be less clouded,
And for my food order their won't be a long wait
Because, I don't have Valentine's date.
Tomorrow Cupid will be flying all about
That's a fact without question or a doubt,
Love arrows he will be shooting and providing
And naturally I will be hiding.
Tomorrow when couples are hugging and kissing
While with happiness and joy they are reminiscing,
I'll be home and alone or maybe at a buffet
Because, tomorrow is Valentine's Day.
