Vacation
The moon is a night affair
And turns up every fortnight
So are stars
But by every night
And the sun is a day affair
Walks twelve hours daily
Then a rest- a while
Oh! how heavenly
And love
Unmindful of sun and moon
Unmindful of roses and thorn
She sails through but not in pause
After each stroke of the oar
Oh! what a prodigy
Her energy
Untold and incalculable
And beyond measure
