Vacant Spaces Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Vacant Spaces

Stars and moon now scooting across the heavens, country -
western music pushing and pulling through their rhythms
all night.

Heart reaching through the darkness as life continues to
enjoy each step to tempos of music, rhythms attuned to
mind and innate talent.

Rushing quickly into moods of enjoyment and pleasure,
riding waves across measures of tones and notes, leaving
nothing to the vacant spaces left behind.
