Up Above, There'Re Wonders Poem by Shemsi Elsani

Up Above, There'Re Wonders

Upward it goes, beyond those white clouds
Slashing through the bluest of the sky
Up and up, thousands of feet
Leaving the globe, make it as if it's the smallest of creation
Proudly soaring through to the enternity
Like a caged bird that being released
Fly all the way beyond the horizon
Not a care in the world

Seated, glazing through the smallest of the opening
Through thick glass of the window
Go his eyes, full of curiousity
Darting around and beyond those blue skies
Reading through the thickness of the passing clouds
Smiling at the own reflection on those beautiful scenary
Imagining self floating among those clouds
Carried smootly by the wind
To the rainbows end
Full of joy, flooding with delightness
Discovering and exposing every curiousity
With magical questions and answers
Feeding up little soul in a little body
To the greatest of happiness in the world

Snapping back to reality
Those beautiful eyes blinked, twice
He wondered how could this world be so beautiful up above
How would clouds be sad when it rained?
How could the wind so mean when he's angry?
How could a rainbow hide in those blueness?
Why would these beauty being hidden?
Or could it be him who being blinded?

Soaring it goes, faster than sound it travelled
Cutting through those beautiful clouds, like a giant monster
Leaving them wondering about their fate
Would it be rain today?

Ringing in the ear, like those high pitch cries of a newborn
Make him winching in disgrace
Distorting his face like an older
Refusing everything to be offerred

Then it went as it came
Drooping low towards the globe
Materializing things that once only blueness
Slapping hard against the wind
Refusing the urge to be down
As the gravity took it over
Enclosed it against the will
Groaning loudly as if screaming
Like a child throwing tantrum

Goes now the beautiful cloud, comes again the ugly haze
Hurting his eyes, make them tears
Washing away all those dreams
With those rainbows of millions colours
With those clouds of white softness
With those skies of never ending blueness
With those winds that never give up
Stand his still, wishing for more
