Unwise Decision Poem by Bonnie Collins

Unwise Decision

Rating: 5.0

Loving you and leaving me seemd to
go hand and hand

Decisions made with anger filled
with years of a lifetime of regrets

I didnt have to decide, you did,
Nor did your memory seem like
it would have to be surpressed

Open the door, it is yours, but dont
ask me to forget you, nor try to forgive

You are the one my love, you are the one
who now must live with your regrets

Regrets are part of a decision that was
made on your behalf, WE didnt decide
this together, as I rememberd

So move onward, and you will have to learn
to live with your misjudgment

Loving you took out part of my organ
Transplanting it now, would only be one
more unwise decision

Sometimes looking back is better
than living with the future...........

A passionate writ of unresolved conflict. The song has ended but the melody lingers. No winners..........losers only......even freedom has its ache!

What a heart wrenching rendition of choices that end in broken up lived through stanzas...

So sad, yet so beautiful. Consider my heart tugged at for sure. 'Loving you took out part of my organ Transplanting it now, would only be one more unwise decision.'.......................Excellent. Thank you for sharing. Craig
