Untitled Poem by Kimberley Marie

Untitled

Hours pass in a flash
Or blink of an eye
Listening to tales coming from the heart
Can't help but picture the depiction justly referred as art.
Sorrow and sadness plaguing the immediate thoughts that followed,
Fading as the reality showing strength and determination prevailing
Above the hardships swallowed.
I can't seem to speak
Captivated by intrigue from which I get weak.
A stagnant path of hopeless filler
For the void
Unable to take hold
which would be devastating to see
such an awesome person destroyed.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I don't remember writing this. I found it written on an old cigarette pack, in my writing. Nevertheless, I could've been inspired from a song or this could be a song I just don't remember. But I love it....had to post it. Regardless, it definately speaks about me.
