Unspoken Words Of Infinite Love Affairs Poem by Judith Punzalan

Unspoken Words Of Infinite Love Affairs

day by day I see
irrevocable acts of chivalry
meant to make girls fall desperately
for their cautious roars of glee

day by day I witness
all the women's caress
meant to make their lovers confess
what their emotions profess

day by day they claim
that their feelings are not for game
meant only to harbor fame
or to anything they're trying to aim

day by day I try
to understand what is goodbye
or to hear a shivering cry
that caused a love to die

day by day I pray
that to love is just to say
that every particle can have his way
on this life I'm willing to pay

day by day I ask
the profound wisdom of the task
kept inside a golden flask
hidden behind a shadowy mask

day by day I come to know
that to love forever is also to grow
a hidden brown thick bough
for you to hold onto when the winds blow

day by day I have been torn
between the lover's different mourn
once hit by a sharp horn
heart's being surprisingly worn

and everyday I ponder
how I'd not grow fonder
of your insanely unique order
where my mind starts to wander

and everyday I will think
about how the stars wonderfully blink
when they seem to have an absurd link
to my unending, unwise sink

Out of randomness I write, my careless feelings tonight.
