Sky, a cold steel blue, patchy dark grey clouds,
the part sunny day, holds no happy smiles.
Unseen go warming sun, the joyful faces;
sadness rules this now discontented soul.
Body slouched, bent with grief, tears plummet.
A longing heart feels sad, despair is set;
blind to hope, unsighted, screened from love;
lifeless in that moment now deceased.
Yet sorrow stays only, till love returns;
for the love of life itself, is bliss.
Life’s changes happen all the time, so
to stay in fashion, religiously follow,
pursue, each of life’s moments faithfully.
Happiness is the love of life, that’s Now!

Life’s changes happen all the time, so to stay in fashion, religiously follow, pursue, each of life’s moments faithfully. Happiness is the love of life, that’s Now! The truth of life that we must know. It can transform the Earth into Heaven.
'sorrow stays only, till love returns; for the love of life itself, is bliss'... Truthful expression beautifully poetic...thanks a lot for your eloquent poem Bob...10
a very inspiring poem sir....so true...a pleasure to read..10
There's truth in what you say....universally reflective in many a philsophical and religious discourse.......the gritty adventures in the daily pursuit of happiness....there - right in front of us....everyday... Cheers. Subroto
Could not agree more with this Bob - - the Now is the timeless zone where we find bliss - and to be reminded in such a verse is so comforting..... thank you Bob... this deserves a dozen tens.....10 + + + + Fay
In the same sky where the color blue resides Lauded by poet, painter, Columnist and critic Appears those dark hovering clouds How long can it remain there? Until for great shower or Until the powerful wind wipes it away. Here you have put a great lesson of life Last two lines sum it all. I enjoyed the theme to the brim. Thank you, dear poet.
love of life itself is bliss- thanks for reminding. at times overwhelmed by sorrow we forget how beautiful life is. y'day at midday, while there was a heat wave outside, i saw champa flowers smile at me- isn't it a miracle, how these delicate flowers survive as we wilt... nice poem to read as i go to bed, feeling happy. thanks Bob
