Unfair Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Unfair

There are cracks in the home from outside looks beautiful
Cause you say that you're happy
But you aren't whole
How can you be lucky
When there's opportunity
You'll take at first glance
Turn around and switch up
At any given chance
Leave me left with the love
You would display on the nights
You spent more than just once
With me
Why is it that the interesting ones are always taken?
Why is it that we long for more of what we can't have?
But if you're so happy
One starts to wonder
Why are you here?
Why here with me?
Each night we spend so wonderful
And Everytime i long to see you again
Want to know, where i stand?
You say, It isn't possible, let's make it possible
Cause just a few nights can turn into a life time
Cupid struck my heart with his arrow
The rules of this can not be narrowed
Someone always gets hurt
It isn't at all fair
