Unending Maze. Poem by Brian Ben

Unending Maze.

Rating: 4.0

Love rules a King's empire
Without a shield, haft and a sword
We can fall in it like in water
Drawn and mortify
Love, like water, we can't live without.

Life less love
Is a crude path to tread
Life less love
Is a dead Ross, in a shielded garden.

Loneliness is there to beckon at you
Arms crave to hold onto someone
Spaces between the fingers grow bigger
Just as the loveache advances night and day.

The nights grow shorter
Days lengthen, joy fades away
The mind travels miles away
In search of this emblem of eternity
Love, a never ending maze.
