I Dare Dream Poem by Brian Ben

I Dare Dream

Rating: 5.0

I have steamy staff in lots
That I want to say to you in privacy
If only you listen to me speak in your heart
During the night, before you sleep

I dare dream
Luscious dreams of you turn superfluous
During that moment of the night
When I'm too tired to fight you back.

Memories of you come
I see you cross the bridge of love
I see you kiss me euphorically
A kiss that makes me young again
I smell your seductive perfume
Right when I emergine of you.

I smile broadly to myself
Thinking that you are right with me
I am always looking for you
Once I read a touching love story
I spend my precious time
Crafting a charismatic smile for you.

That I can't fall asleep
Reality exceeds my dreams
I risk to try it out
Despite your enticement to trust
Plato's madness about love.
