Under A Tree Poem by Anne Yun

Under A Tree

Rating: 4.9

Under a tree, where clouds above cannot see
leaves, together with names, cover one and another
gaps between, flares fliter in, warm childhood's memory
while i stand still, eyes full of glitter
with tilted heads they look curiously at me
from top to bottom, a clumsy stranger
breaks no deadlock, for this sweet privity
they dance and sing, mock at my naked feather

A profound and compelling perspective. What a unique view. It kept me meditating and re-reading. Thank you.
