You may cry at nights
for me, for him
for days past with no light
so do i
sometime, sometime
What a tender poem, and you do not allow even one word to disturb that tenderness. You acknowledge someone else's grief and offer an understated consolation, no brash advice that probably would not help, just a a patient sharing of a time of sadness. And the last two lines do shed light in this time of darkness when you admit to a similar sadness. And offer just the simple consolation of your presence.
Dear Daniel, your words make me feel that you know me so well. I have a poetic dream that my words can give some light to people in loneliness and darkness, I know how helpless and hopeless could life be when you're trapped by your own dark side, and the only thing can help is to let them know 'you're not alone' 'i know you, i know what you're experiencing'
