You cheated and you lied
I pretended not to mind
but deep inside I'm aching
my heart, my soul is breaking.

You tell me time will heal
you say your love is true
I fight with my emotions
I want to believe in you.

My heart is black and blue
It's battered and it's bruised
I no longer have respect
It's over, we are through.

Unconditional love
I'll save for a love that's true
you had your chance
I'm over you.
