Uncertainty Leads To Questions Poem by Delilah Miller

Uncertainty Leads To Questions

Rating: 4.8

It's Friday already.
I've been working 10 days in a row.
My mind has fled me;
I guess it had somewhere else to go.

It's Friday morning, a half a hour into the day.
I've just deleted over 50 poems on this website.
Those poems were silly, not famous, and had nothing to say;
I feel like I'm a self-loather and someone blew out my inner light.

Who cares what damn day it was or is going to be.
I'm a loser in every moon ray, starlight and sunbeam.
I CANNOT write and I am discouraged already.
Where did I go? Why aren't I happy and where are my dreams?

'My mind has fled me/ I guess it somewhere else to go' is rather brilliant. Questions that everybody asks and reasks. Poetry comes flooding back again.

This one is good write, Collette. It is the message which you try to convey is important. For as long as it comes from the heart, it has value to humanity.A poet just expresses about her instimctive understanding or intuition about life through personal encounters or experiences of others with a touch of poetry.Continue what you love to do, write more! So sad I had not read those 50 poems you deleted. One day it could have been become something Valuable! Regards.
