Unanswered Calls Poem by Hebert Logerie

Unanswered Calls

I called you earlier
This morning, but you failed to answer
You probably shut up your phone
On purpose, for no reason
To make me wonder
To punish me like a dreamer.

My heart is not a toy
I am no longer a boy
Please stop playing game
Pick up. This is a shame
That you have not answered my calls
My heart and my soul are not ping pong balls
Please pick up the freaking phone
I am desperate; I am now alone.
