Somewhere
in this old town,
somewhere
on a quiet street,
there lives a man
with two left feet.
He tried to walk
he tried to run,
he just fell down,
now lays in the sun.
People
they come,
people,
from all around,
they call to the man
'Get up off of the ground! '
But the man
with
two left feet
hears not their cries,
for it's safer
for his heart
to lie there
and let love sleep.
