The Darkness Of Night (Poems Of Winter: 2004)
The darkness of night so deftly creeps upon us
incasing each of us
in its velvet softness
Each breath, each thought, every sense
heightened by encroaching silence
yet silence of mind eludes us
And there in lies the strength of night
like a mist of the past
hinting of the future
