Turn Your Heart Unkind Poem by Mark Heathcote

Turn Your Heart Unkind

Don’t let your eyes exceed your heart
Eyes they’re only too easily fooled
They fall for every sign, be smart
Son listens to only your heart.

Because the devil he’s deceitful
He’ll sear both your eyes blind
Allow you to mistrust unneedful
Turn your heart unkind.
