True Love Is Poem by Noah Body

True Love Is

A sunrise over a white sandy beach,
Caring so much it's out of your reach,

Never the sunset unless it's shared,
Hopes and dreams to each other bared.

Totally selfless, never about you
Seeing them happy makes you so too

Thinking of them before any other
Nothing at all is too much a bother

Losing yourself forever in their eyes
You heart takes wing and away it flies

Smelling their hair, touching their skin
Is enough to give you the silliest grin

Forgiving them before ever you're asked,
Living the pain with which you've been tasked

A rose petal to catch the tears from the pain
The tears that roll down as if they were rain

The most amazing feeling you'll ever know
Your loved one is the star of your show

Everlasting it will never subside
It's ever too much for one to hide

Hard as a diamond and ever so rare,
Soft as a baby's newly born hair

Limitless and endless, there's no bounds to see
Even the edge of the universe seems closer to me

True love is ecstasy this much I know
It sets your mind afire, your heart aglow
