Trick Or Treaters At The Door Poem by Patricia Kelley

Trick Or Treaters At The Door

It's that time of the year for ghosts and goblins to come knocking at the door.
It makes you in a hurry to get your feet on the floor to answer the hollowed door.
Oh, my so many children, wearing a double mask at the door.
Yes, a Covid mask over a Halloween mask it's a fright to see at the door.
Who is that masked child at the door?
Quick, answer the door, they're, all running towards our door,
Trick or Treaters, squealing at our door.
They come running for all the good treats at our door. They know we have the chocolate candy at our door.
