Tread Gently Through My Soul Good Friend Poem by Valerie Dohren

Tread Gently Through My Soul Good Friend

Rating: 3.8

Tread gently through my soul good friend
For I am sore from life`s travails
Tread gently through my soul perchance
You touch upon some tender ills

There are no remedies for pain
Incurred through worldly strife
Tread gently through my soul good friend
For I am sore from living life

No alms can soothe this troubled brow
Nor mend this aching heart
Tread gently through my soul good friend
Don`t tear this fragile life apart

I never knew a lamentation could engender such poignantly touching overtones-certainly worth a 10

This touched me very deeply. I can so relate to life's travails but through them, I have become a much stronger, more thick skinned woman who is more capable of offering inspiration to others. I've walked the walk. Now, I must talk the talk.
