Tragedy Poem by Young Poet

Tragedy

Rating: 5.0

The days slipped by; the months morphed into years.
And between two continents-missing you
And moving on, the untamed ocean bears
Your memory. There's nothing I can do
But let this chartless voyage of my heart
End in tragedy. Let me go adrift,
Aimless, and let time tear my sails apart.
Then, overturn me mighty wind and shift
My course straight to the trenches of the past,
Where lie my joys and passions buried deep,
Her sweet kisses and touch engulf at last
My empty being to a peaceful sleep.
To fathom death, I shall miss you no more,
Emerging like the sun at heaven's door.
