their souls have gangrene
their dark hearts have atrophied
their minds have decayed
their old eyes lust for young flesh

An eloquent poem; the horrid, visual descriptions remind me of Dr John Cooper Clarke's " " (This is a compliment, haha) . Thanks for sharing- I can hear the disgust in your expertly-penned words and reading this was a great experience! 10+

Thank you for your comment- -but oh how I wish this did not exist in the world and the heart of man- but wishes won't cure this plague

And it will be hushed up in 2 weeks, a slap on the wrist, because big names are in the mix, just disgusting! ! ! I agree with you, of corse the media will mention it because they have to at the moment but they will not pursue it...and that is where the story is

Thank you, Soran... I would have liked to name some names but the vile men come in every walk of life so it seemed best to keep it general instead of saying two specific names although we Americans know their names being one is rich and powerful and one was said to hang himself so as to not incriminate the other... not mentioning names though, you see. .

The content of this poem is a high degree of humanity that not everyone can reach. She feels the suffering of every weak and oppressed wherever they are. We can only thank our talented poet Susan for her distinguished poetic works. with the top mark++

Very powerful poem, Susan. I think it can serve as a metaphor for anyone acting to corrupt innocence....in any way. A perfect 10.

Thank you for seeing past the horribly obvious and seeing all the other ways innocence can be taken away.. Thank you for the 10, my friend
