Topsy-Turvy Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Topsy-Turvy

I Came Around to See

I came around to see,
The beauty in you.
It was in reverse.
Your insides needed change.

I pointed that out to you,
But you didn't take any heed of you.
So I pointed it out again.
You acted the same.

I showed you another,
Just like you.
You didn't much like him,
Even though he was your brother.

You saw evil in others.
You saw none in you.
It was a topsy-turvy world,
Within you.
